Huge contract for OneCo

OneCo has been awarded a contract by Statsbygg for the delivery of electrical and low-voltage installations in the new Life Sciences building at the University of Oslo. The contract has a framework of approximately NOK 600 million.

"This is, of course, a contract that we are particularly pleased to be involved in delivering," says Bård A. Nielsen, Regional Director at OneCo. "In addition to the fact that this is one of the largest electrical jobs to be carried out in Norway for many years, this is also a project that will present many professional challenges that we look forward to delivering good solutions to." continues Bård A. Nielsen.

With its 67,000 square metres, the Life Sciences Building will be Norway's largest single university building. It will have flexible solutions so that it can be adapted to developments in research, innovation and education. The building will be a workplace for around 1,000 employees and 1,600 students engaged in research and teaching in the life sciences, chemistry and pharmacy.
