Control and appliance systems delivered to Statkraft
OneCo Teksal Energy is currently in the process of finalising the complete control and instrumentation system for the Leiro power plant. Statkraft is required to release water from Sysendammen in Eidfjord to Vøringsfossen in the summer. In order to utilise this water, Leiro power station is now being built with an installed capacity of approx.

5 MW and an average annual production of 8.4 GW.
OneCo Teksal Energy has designed, built and installed the control system that will ensure maximum production in the Leiro power plant in relation to the requirement for minimum water flow and other inflows to the river.
The delivery is an E-Brick™, which is an integrated electrical automation module for hydropower plants. It combines the high-voltage system and the automation system in a pre-installed module, and appears as a complete industrialised product. E-Brick™ offers many advantages. The power plant can be factory-tested to a much greater extent, a great deal of working time is saved on the plant and, not least, commissioning is made more efficient.
"For us, this project has been both demanding and stimulating. Statkraft has very high demands on the systems they choose for their small power plants. We are therefore very pleased that we have been able to deliver to this project," says Martin Haga, head of OneCo Teksal Energy.
