Charging stations in Trondheim

In collaboration with a number of private and public organisations, Trondheim Municipality has contributed to the development of charging stations for rechargeable motor vehicles. This latest major development, with 87 charging outlets at 44 charging stations, now gives electric motorists access to a total of 150 charging outlets at 69 stations relatively well distributed throughout the municipality.

The development of charging stations with reserved spaces for electric cars and free electricity is an important environmental initiative that constitutes a significant incentive for current electric car drivers, and at the same time is a significant stimulus and facilitation for more people to choose electric cars.

"The latest development, with a cost framework of NOK 3.1 million, has had Teksal OneCo as the main contractor and electrical contractor.
