OneCo with ambitions

OneCo strengthens its position by the Møller family's investment company Katalysator becoming the majority shareholder in OneCo. This will add and secure the company's expertise and financial lifting capacity.

Ever since OneCo was founded in February 2011, the ambition has been to develop the company into a leading contractor supplier of electrical and telecoms services in Norway. A goal that has largely been achieved.

"With total annual sales of approximately NOK 1.6 billion and good results, OneCo with its 900 employees has certainly achieved the goals we have set ourselves so far," says Marvin Jensen, CEO of OneCo.

OneCo has spent the summer and autumn charting its course for the next five years. An important part of the further investment is to strengthen the ownership side with an industrial player that can provide the company with both expertise and financial leverage.

- "We are proud and delighted that Katalysator has chosen to become a major shareholder in OneCo. Katalysator's expertise and view of the future are a perfect match for us, and we look forward to embarking on the further development of OneCo together. We have great ambitions to increase market shares in the areas we are in," says Marvin Jensen, CEO of OneCo.

- Digitisation and the green shift are in full swing, generating a high level of activity in many industries. OneCo is a great company that has achieved a lot in a short time. They are well positioned for the opportunities offered by smart technology, among other things. In addition to electrical and automation, OneCo will in the next few years invest further in critical infrastructure such as electrical power and telecoms," says Øyvind Schage Førde, chairman of the Møller family's holding company, Aars.
The investment in OneCo is made through Aars' investment company, Katalysator. Aars had a turnover of 28 billion in 2017.

¬- OneCo has a good position in the Norwegian market within electrical services and highly skilled employees who manage this position. Katalysator will be an active owner and supporter of the management team. There are significant opportunities for growth in many segments and we share OneCo management's view on the changes the industry is facing," says Jon Pran, CEO of Katalysator.

Katalysator becomes the majority owner of OneCo. In addition, the management will continue to have a large stake in the company.

BR Industrier has been a solid contributor in the development of OneCo up to where the company is today, and sees this as the right time to sell out and continue to focus on industrial development within BR Industrier's other business areas.
- "It's important for us to bring management and employees on board in OneCo. They have laid the foundation and have all the prerequisites for building the company further," says Øyvind Schage Førde.
