Exciting PPP contract for OneCo
Together with Veidekke entreprenør AS, Oneco Sør AS has won the contract for Justvik School.
Together with Veidekke entreprenør AS, Oneco Sør AS has won the contract for Justvik School.
Kristiansand municipality has not had any public-private partnership (PPP) projects to date. The city council wanted to try out such a scheme for the construction of Justvik school.
Under the agreement, Veidekke will build Justvik School and lease it to Kristiansand Municipality for 25 years. Thereafter, the municipality will take over the building free of charge. Throughout the lease period, Veidekke will be the owner of the building and responsible for all management, operation and maintenance.
OneCo will supply all electrical installations, including fire alarms, access control, burglar alarms and audio and video systems.
Construction of the new building is scheduled to start in November/December 2016. The school will be ready for use in November/December 2017.
