Thames Side LeverMount

Easier, safer and faster using this simple innovative design. It combines a 316 stainless steel mounting accessory with an OIML-approved load cell (bending beam or shear beam) protected to IP68 and IP69K, creating an ideal solution for legal-for-trade weighing applications requiring washdown, even in hazardous (ATEX) areas.

Separate lifting equipment (such as a hydraulic jack or lifting tool) is NOT required to raise and lower the weighing vessel, even if the vessel is full - therefore installation is very simple and fast. And the production process doesn't have to stop if a load cell needs to be changed in the future. The 3-point bottom attachment provides excellent mechanical stability without the need for shims. We supply LeverMount® mounting accessories locked in position. The load cell can remain safely in its packaging until the mechanical installation (and any necessary welding) is complete, thus avoiding potential damage. The LeverMount® transport bolts are then removed and the same bolts are used to secure the load cell in place; in this way, the load cell acts as a lever to raise the upper plate of the mounting accessory to the weighing position, regardless of whether the vessel is empty or full.

Removing and reinstalling a load cell is simple and very quick.

LeverMount® is available in 2 versions:

• A standard version (using a hardened load button and saddle) for static applications such as tank and container weighing
• A special self-centring (SC) version (using a ball-and-cup set up to 2,500 kg capacity, or a spherical-end column-and-cup set with 3,000 kg and 5,000 kg capacity) for "dynamic" applications such as platform scales, or conveyor scales with end stops of the mounting accessories required due to repeated movements).
