Get to know Pierre - bass in OneCo

My name is Pierre, 30 years old, and since 2017 I've been a base in OneCo, most recently at Eufemias Hage in Bjørvika. As a base, I coordinate fitters and apprentices (up to 19 at the same time) and work closely with internal project managers and main contractors. I participate in construction and project meetings, coordinate across disciplines with other craftsmen, and deal with the challenges of keeping progress in a large project with up to 400 people.

My role also includes building team spirit and integrating new employees. We focus on delivering "quality in every connection" in line with OneCo's slogan. I manage changes and ensure effective communication through @workplace, a platform for daily updates.

Much of the day is spent on the construction site, supplemented by various meetings. I also contribute to electrical work, about 50 % of the time, and create a good co-operation in the team, which varies in age from young apprentices to experienced fitters.

During periods of high workload, an extra base assists to maintain quality and progress. We are proactive with product orders and technical solutions, and our electrical installations include everything from lighting to infrastructure in common areas.
