Regular home chargers deliver 7.4 kW (1-phase) or up to 22kW (3-phase)
22kW requires that your system has 400V TN. This is often labelled in your fuse box.
The most common in Norway is 230V IT.
The vehicle's inbuilt on-board charger may have limitations. Typically 1-phase 3.6kW/7.4kW or up to 11kW/22kW 3-phase.
This depends on the car's front bumper.
Typical example:
– 7,4 kW gir ca. 40 km rekkevidde per time
– 11 kW gir ca. 60–70 km per time
Et fullt batteri på 60 kWh kan dermed lades på 6–8 timer
Load balancing ensures that the charging box adapts the charging speed to how much power you otherwise use in the house, so that the main fuse does not blow. This ensures safe and efficient charging, even with low capacity.
This often requires an additional device that plugs into the HAN port on your electricity meter.
When you connect your car to the charge point, the station starts and sends power via alternating current (AC), which the car converts to direct current (DC) with its internal on-board charger. Fast chargers deliver DC directly and can charge your car faster.
It is recommended to charge regularly (e.g. every night) and to keep the battery between 20-80 % during normal use. Fast charging can be used when needed, not as a permanent solution.

The buyer has sufficient capacity in the electrical system for the installation
The buyer has available space for a new circuit breaker/ surge protector in the existing fuse box

The surcharges will be invoiced directly from the Installer, in accordance with the Installer's price list (hours/materials/fixed price).
Any faults in existing facilities that are discovered during installation are invoiced to the Buyer on an hourly basis.

The Buyer enters into the agreement with the Installer when entering into the Agreement. It is a prerequisite that the Buyer is a consumer in the sense of the Consumer Purchase Act and over the age of 18.
5. Price and payment.
a. The Basic Package itself and any additional orders are invoiced and paid to the Installer in accordance with the Installer's invoicing procedures.
b. If the Buyer materially defaults on the payment obligation, the Installer may terminate the agreement, claim compensation and interest and/or withhold performance.
6. Credit assessment
After the conclusion of the Agreement, the Installer may carry out a credit assessment of the Buyer. If the result of the credit assessment is not satisfactory, Installer may cancel the agreement.
7. The installer's duties
The time when the Installer is to deliver and carry out the installation at the Customer's premises is either stated in the Order Confirmation or agreed directly between the Buyer and the Installer.
8. The buyer's obligations
The Buyer is obliged to assist so that the Installer and any others involved in the delivery have good access to the installation site and the property's electrical installations. The Buyer is also obliged to provide the information requested by the Installer both before and during the installation.
If the Buyer does not provide the necessary co-operation, including providing the necessary access to the property, so that delivery is prevented or delayed, the Installer may claim any loss from the Buyer. The same applies if the Buyer has not fulfilled his obligation to provide information and this results in additional work for the Installer.
9. Cancellation and right of withdrawal.
a. Cancellation
If the Buyer cancels the order before the agreed time for delivery of the charger and any Additional Orders, the Installer cannot retain the purchase but can instead claim compensation for losses resulting from the cancellation and any costs incurred by the Installer. In addition, cover the Installer's termination costs with an agreed cancellation fee.
b. Right of cancellation
The Buyer has the right to withdraw from this agreement by notifying the Installer before the expiry of the cancellation period set out in the Cancellation Act. The cancellation period is deemed to have been complied with if notification is sent before the expiry of the period. Notification can be made using a completed cancellation form or by other unambiguous declaration.
For all work resulting from the installation of the EV charger, including additional orders, the cancellation period is 14 days from the conclusion of the Agreement. The Buyer may request the Installer to carry out the installation before the expiry of the cancellation period. If the Buyer nevertheless exercises the right of cancellation, the Installer may charge the Buyer for costs incurred. If the installation is completed, the right of cancellation is considered waived.
The cancellation period for the purchase of the EV charger itself and any additional equipment for it expires 14 days after the Buyer has received physical delivery of the EV charger. During this period, the Buyer has the right to withdraw from its obligations even if installation of the EV charger has begun. If the Buyer exercises the right of cancellation, the Buyer must bear the costs of returning the EV charger and any additional equipment to the Installer. Additional equipment can be returned by post to the address provided by the Installer. The EV charger itself must be removed by the Installer. The Buyer may not dismantle the EV charger himself. The Buyer must cover all costs associated with dismantling and returning the charger. The Seller may claim reimbursement of the reduction in value of the charger as a result of the Buyer's examination and handling of the charger.
If the electric car charger is installed, the Buyer must still pay for the installation even if the right of cancellation applies to the electric car charger. Cables run to the charger are considered part of the installation and will not be removed even if the right of cancellation applies to the charger. The buyer's costs in connection with internet connection are not refundable.
10. Complaints
If there is a defect in the installation or the EV charger itself and this is not due to the Buyer or circumstances on the Buyer's side, the Buyer may invoke remedies for breach of contract. The Buyer must then, within a reasonable time after discovering or ought to have discovered the defect, notify the Installer that the defect will be invoked.
If there is a defect, the Installer is obliged to rectify the defect. If it turns out that there was no defect in the installation or the EV charger, the Installer may demand payment for the examination and any repairs carried out.
11. Confidentiality, personal data and communication between the Parties.
The Buyer shall provide the Installer with information about his email address and mobile phone number and accepts that the Installer may use these to notify the customer in connection with the customer relationship.
