Upgrade of six tunnels on the E39 south of Trondheim
Modern, efficient and safe roads in Norway
The project on the E39 Klett - Bårdshaug motorway involves upgrading safety systems in six tunnels on the PPP route. OneCo is a subcontractor to Skanska, and has been responsible for electrical and SRO work. The work was done under a performance contract, where we have been responsible for the installation, testing and commissioning of new equipment, while keeping existing safety equipment operational until the new system was fully implemented.

- Emergency power system: Ensures lighting in the event of a power cut
- Escape light: Improves evacuation options in emergencies
- Emergency stations: Upgraded for increased user safety
- Remote-controlled booms: For efficient tunnel closure when needed
- ITV - Surveillance: Enhanced security with advanced monitoring technology
- AID (Automatic Incident Detection): Automatic event detection system
- Electronic signs: Upgraded signage system for better information to road users
- Fibre: Upgrading fibre infrastructure for reliable communication
