Fundamental human rights and decent working conditions

Human rights are fundamental rights that everyone has, regardless of gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, nationality or where in the world they live.

For OneCo, fundamental human rights and decent working conditions are relevant in several ways; first and foremost in our role as an employer, but also in our procurement of goods and services and in our collaboration with subcontractors, customers and others. As a group with annual sales of almost SEK 5 billion and nearly 3,000 employees, OneCo has a central social role in safeguarding human rights and decent working conditions in all parts of our value creation.

Through national legislation such as the Working Environment Act, the Gender Equality Act and the Transparency Act, we have an independent duty to ensure that these rights are safeguarded.

In an international context, the picture is more complex, as not all countries have equally good rules. However, such national differences do not absolve us of responsibility. In OneCo, our ethical guidelines both internally in all OneCo companies and externally for our subcontractors, contractors and others who perform work for or on behalf of OneCo.

The principles are also included in our "Agreement on supplier behaviour" which applies to anyone supplying goods and services to, or on behalf of, OneCo. The purpose of this agreement is to create a formal framework between OneCo and our suppliers, enabling us to work together to ensure responsible supplier behaviour throughout our supply chain.

This report must be seen in the context of our sustainability report and our report on theequality and discrimination. Taken together, these three reports provide a picture of how we at OneCo work with key and important issues that affect everyone we interact with.
