Sustainability report OneCo 2021
This report marks a milestone for OneCo. For the first time, we are publishing a report that shows the breadth of our activities related to our shared responsibility to create a sustainable future.

Together for a
Sustainable future
At OneCo, we have worked systematically and purposefully with sustainability over time, supported by customer expectations and the commitment of our own employees. We believe that the key to lasting change and development is to ensure that our sustainability work is integrated into our daily operations.
Where is OneCo today and where does it go from here?
OneCo's sustainability report is intended to provide insight into our overall priorities, goals and results, and the activities and standards we will follow in our work. Through this report, we want to show where we stand and what our goals are. Transparency is a prerequisite for being able to improve.
Significant investments will be made in Scandinavia and the rest of the world to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the goals of the Paris Agreement. Through our deliveries, we help to enable necessary changes in society. We build and upgrade critical infrastructure, our solutions contribute to better resource utilisation and we deliver facilities that produce renewable energy. The future is electric and we are part of it. To make this even more visible, we will in future classify our activities according to the EU taxonomy. This will not only be useful for future lenders and investors, but also help other stakeholders understand our business from a sustainability perspective.
Greater demands for responsible operations - phasing in electric cars and increasing the proportion of women in the company
We recognise that greater demands are being placed on how we run our business. Increased focus on environmental impact and responsible operations will require a willingness to change and a critical look at existing delivery models.
In some areas, the target is achievable and the measures are obvious. The largest contributor to greenhouse gas emissions in our own Group comes from travel and transport, more specifically the car fleet. Here we are already in the process of phasing in electric cars. In other areas, it will take longer to reach our goals. One example is increasing the proportion of women among our employees. The starting point is good, we are proud of our programme for training apprentices - now we need to develop this further so that more women choose to become part of the industry and our company.
OneCo as an inclusive and responsible employer
Aars AS, which is our main owner, is an important supporter of our sustainability work. They both make demands on us and inspire us. One of the sources of inspiration is "Møller Medvind", which is Aars' initiative to secure permanent, full-time positions for people with "gaps in their CVs" and at the same time clean up a frivolous industry. Through the Møller Medvind method, young people from Nav who have previously not been given the chance they deserve are trained. We will also be working with similar solutions in OneCo.
Being a responsible employer is a matter of course for us. Good cooperation with employee representatives and the safety service is therefore a priority. We recognise that this is particularly important in our HSE work and in our efforts to ensure proper working and pay conditions throughout the industry. Well-being, employeeship and trust are crucial if we are to succeed in achieving our goals.
The journey is underway.
