The key to lasting change and development is to ensure that our sustainability work is integrated into our daily operations.

At OneCo, we have worked systematically and purposefully with sustainability over time, supported by customer expectations and the commitment of our own employees. We believe that the key to lasting change and development is to ensure that our sustainability work is integrated into our daily operations.

Through this report, we want to show where we stand, what our goals are and what activities and standards we will follow in our work. Transparency is a prerequisite for improvement.

We take our share of responsibility for Norway reaching its sustainability goals
Through our deliveries, we help to enable necessary changes in society. We build and upgrade critical infrastructure, our solutions contribute to better resource utilisation and we deliver facilities that produce renewable energy. The future is electric and OneCo is part of it.

Phasing in of electric cars and development of own employees
The largest contributor to greenhouse gas emissions in our own Group comes from travel and transport, specifically our service vehicles. Here we are already in the process of phasing in electric cars. In other areas, it will take longer to achieve our goals - for example, increasing the proportion of women.

Part of our social responsibility is the development of tomorrow's professionals through the apprenticeship programme. OneCo currently employs over 200 apprentices. We also develop our own employees through an expanded competence programme that covers several positions and all management levels.

OneCo as an inclusive and responsible employer
Aars AS, which is our main owner, is an important supporter of our sustainability work. They make demands and inspire us. Among other things, we have been mightily impressed by what they have achieved through "Møller Medvind". This is an initiative to help young people who have previously not been given the chance they deserve in working life into permanent, full-time positions. In 2022, we established our own version of this, "OneCo Medvind".

Through this initiative, we want to give something back to society and recruit young people using the Møller Medvind method. As a first step, OneCo Medvind is established in connection with OneCo Elektro in collaboration with NAV in Kristiansand.

Being a responsible employer is a matter of course for us. Good cooperation with employee representatives and the safety service is therefore a priority. We recognise that this is particularly important in our HSE work and in our efforts to ensure proper working and pay conditions throughout the industry.

Well-being, employeeship and trust are crucial for us to succeed in achieving our goals.
