Gender equality and discrimination 2021
OneCo distances itself from any form of discrimination, whether based on gender, age, ethnicity, religion or other factors. OneCo works actively for an inclusive and health-promoting working life where none of our employees - or others who perform work for OneCo - should experience harassment, bullying or negative attention.

This year's equality and discrimination report is the Group's first in this format, and is based on data from 2021 for the entire Group. The report shows the status internally, as well as our assessment of risk in key processes and what measures we have already implemented - or will implement in the near future.
Focus on a higher proportion of women
Our work to improve gender equality and prevent discrimination will particularly emphasise the need to improve the gender balance in the Group. With a female share of only 9.6 %, we consider this to be our most important challenge in our work on gender equality and diversity.
We want to reflect the ethnic diversity of society
This does not mean that issues related to ethnicity, age, religion or disability are less important. However, our experience is that OneCo has made more progress in these areas. This applies in particular to ethnicity/religion. We currently employ a number of people from different nations, and we are proud of this community. Our goal is that we as a whole should reflect the ethnic diversity of society.
The same also applies to age. We currently have a large spread in the age composition of our employees. The youngest are 17 years old and the oldest 70 years old, which is the internal retirement age in the Group.
Employment of people with disabilities
A large volume of our positions require good physical fitness and a strong body to cope with everyday tasks such as heavy lifting and demanding working positions over time. In addition, good hearing and eyesight are essential to avoid dangerous situations on construction sites. This affects our ability to employ people with disabilities in operational positions. In administrative positions, this will be easier to achieve. As far as possible, we accommodate people with temporary or permanent disabilities due to illness or injury.
A good gender balance leads to better results
OneCo operates in male-dominated disciplines and aims to increase the proportion of women in the Group.
A better gender balance among our employees will contribute positively to the working environment, to our results and to the quality of our deliveries. A better gender balance will also contribute to a stronger reputation and increased attractiveness as an employer. In our experience, gender is subordinate when it comes to our projects and services. OneCo wants to be an attractive employer regardless of gender.
We are well underway with several measures to achieve the goal of a better gender balance, and this work will be further strengthened in 2022. These measures are summarised in a Group-wide target of 12 % women in 2024.
