Seamless security for 70,000 square metres - OneCo secures Aker companies' new living room
The Aker companies' new headquarters will have one of Norway's most advanced security systems
Aker BP and Aker Solutions' state-of-the-art office premises in Hinna Park in Stavanger will have one of Norway's most advanced security systems with seamless security for 70,000 square metres.
OneCo delivers a complete security solution consisting of locking systems, alarms, access control, ITV monitoring and physical security measures. In addition, OneCo delivers solutions for physically restricting access to people and vehicles into the building.
Satisfied partners
In total, around 80,000 metres of cable will be laid in the project - equivalent to the distance between Oslo and Drammen. The co-operation between Aker BP, Aker Solutions, HENT and OneCo is described as very good.
The detailed installation and the cabinets chosen for the controllers and panels are very well done. It's good craftsmanship all the way, from the basic installation in the cabinets to the doors. A detail like the cabinets, where a very neat installation has been made, says something about the quality of the delivery," says Vegard Floor Søvik, project manager at Aker Security.

A project of this size requires close co-operation and high precision. Both the client and the contractor are very satisfied with the co-operation.
"OneCo was chosen because they can deliver on a scale that matches the needs of the project. Aker has been very satisfied with the choice of OneCo," Søvik continues.
The delivery comprises approximately 1,400 doors, including around 700 card readers, 500 alarm points and a large volume of laser equipment. Over 150 cameras ensure full coverage of the area, supplemented by 20 personal barriers to prevent unauthorised access. It's all integrated with Aker's existing security system.
- Our strength lies in total responsibility. By gathering the entire security delivery at OneCo, we ensure seamless integration and reduce complexity for the customer. It eliminates bottlenecks, simplifies communication and results in a more coherent system - both technically and organisationally. We ensure that all components work together perfectly," says Rune Solbakken, project manager at OneCo.
